Use Winternitz

Swap

Trade ETH, stablecoins and Robinhood Stock Tokens from your quantum-safe account, through Uniswap v4 on Robinhood Chain. Every swap is one operation, signed by one one-time key.

What you can trade#

On Robinhood Chain mainnet: ETH, WETH, USDG (a USD stablecoin) and the Stock Tokens TSLA, AMZN, AAPL, NVDA and MSFT. Testnets have no Uniswap liquidity, so the Swap screen explains that instead of quoting.

Making a swap#

Pick the two tokens

The token picker groups Crypto and Stocks & RWA. The arrow between the two fields flips them.

Enter an amount and review the quote

The wallet quotes every direct pool and every two-hop route (through ETH, USDG or another listed token) with Uniswap's on-chain quoter and shows the best: rate, route, pool fee, minimum received and network fee. Quotes refresh every 20 seconds.

Choose the slippage

0.5%, 1% (default) or 3%. If the price moves further before the swap lands, it reverts and nothing is traded.

Swap

One operation runs the exact-amount approvals and the swap together. Afterwards nothing stays approved, and the output lands in your account.

Why it works differently from other wallets#

Many swap apps ask you to sign a message: a Permit2 permit or a UniswapX order. A Winternitz key can sign only once, and signing a message would use it up, so the wallet never does that. Instead:

  • Approvals are transactions, for the exact amount, inside the same operation as the swap.
  • Routing is classic pool routing (Uniswap v4), not UniswapX. On thin pairs the price can be slightly worse than an aggregator's.
  • Only pools without hooks are used, because hooks can run arbitrary code during a swap.

Stock Tokens

Robinhood Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities that track a share's price; they are not shares and carry no shareholder rights. They are not available to US persons and are restricted in some other countries (including the UK, Canada, Switzerland and the UAE). Check that you are eligible before trading.

Fees#

You pay the Uniswap pool fee (shown in the quote, often between 0.01% and 0.3%) and the network fee for one operation. A swap uses more gas than a transfer, and on Robinhood Chain most of the network fee is the cost of posting the 2 KB signature to Ethereum.

For developers#

quoteSwap, buildSwapCalls and minimumOut are in the SDK; see Swaps in the developer guide. npm run test:swap -w @winternitz/sdk runs swap batches against live mainnet state without funds.
